9. After downloading "unlocker-1.9.0.exe" on the PC - open the executable and install it in the standard way.
   
10. Return to the “ProgramData” folder, right-click on the “non-removable” folder or file, select the “Unlocker” option from the list of available commands in the drop-down list (unlocker.exe will appear after installation in the system).
11. In the dialog box that opens, select the "Delete" option and click on "OK": the data will be cleared.
12. Now you need to hold the Win + R combination at the same time, enter the command "% APPDATA%" without quotes in the "Run" window, and then tap on "OK".
13. The path to the "Roaming" folder will open: search the specified directory for the "DriverPackSolution" components, if objects are found, uninstall them manually, incl. using "Unlocker.exe".
    
14. Go from the "Roaming" directory to the "AppData" folder by clicking on the corresponding element of the address bar.
15. Go to the "Local" folder, find the "Temp" folder: destroy all the contents of the "Temp" folder. To do this, select the first folder in the list, press Ctrl + Shift + End and, without releasing the Ctrl + Shift key, tap on the last element of the "Temp" folder.
16. To destroy objects without moving to the "Trash" press Shift + Delete. For "non-removable" objects use "Unlocker.exe".

Step five: clean the registry

But then, having rummaged on the Internet, I learned a little different. DriverPack Notifier is just a program that kind of monitors your computer and tells you about any problems.

I don’t understand how you can trust the DriverPack Notifier program like that? That is, if, for example, bad sectors appear on your hard disk or a lot of slow ones, then it is better to assess this state manually than to trust the DriverPack Notifier program. You don't have to do this every day.

DriverPack released this Notifier software in December 2015 and, according to her, is a program for monitoring the system and notifying about any failures or those malfunctions that can lead to failures.

DriverPack Notifier also analyzes data such as blue screen error dumps, CPU temperature, hard disk values. So what? But what - all this data is then sent to them on the servers and is already processed there, that is, again an interesting thing, everything happens in the cloud, as they say. Well, this means that everything is sent to them, although they write that they say no, no, we do not collect any confidential data.

Yes, that's not the point, it's just not clear why reinvent the wheel. What is difficult is to install the Aida64 program and see the temperature not only of the processor, but also of all other devices. With the Victoria program, you can check the status of the hard disk once a month. And it's better to manually update the drivers.

My opinion is that while DriverPack Notifier is of dubious benefit, and even for beginners, I don’t know whether to install it, because there are a lot of such programs that check something, look for new versions of programs, drivers and they do not always work correctly.

• at the moment DriverPack Notifier is of dubious benefit and I cannot firmly advise you to install it; or if you already have it, you are not sure if you need it;
• the program is free, but the data is sent to their servers and is already processed there; I do not understand why everything is so complicated, if the programs Victoria for hard and Aida64 for displaying temperatures - work quietly without the Internet;
• automation of such an important process as checking hardware and drivers, I would not trust the program; it is better to do it manually, especially since there is no point in checking often;
