Tweaks password for ios 6 applications. Best tweaks and repositories for Cydia

LiveWire is a new add-on designed specifically for jailbroken Apple mobile devices. This tweak from Cydia contains one single animation study for the most frequently used section of the iOS operating system - the unlock screen. After installing LiveWire, the lockscreen gets the original effect, which is consistent with Apple's "Slide to unlock" approach, but looks much more interesting - the appearance of the iPhone home screen is accompanied by the effect ...

Cydia has a new jailbreak tweak, aptly named PodSwitcher, that puts the iOS multitasking bar to good use. Instead of a blank screen with wallpapers on top, the iPhone owner gets quick access to the music library stored in the mobile device's memory. After installing PodSwitcher, you can view songs, album covers, search for music in the iPhone media library by simply calling the "app switcher". “PodSwitcher provides…

The developer of unofficial iOS applications Grand Paul, known online as Chpwn, has released an update to the Gridlock tweak. Gridlock 2.0 is a very popular jailbreak add-on among users that allows you to arrange icons on the iPhone screen in any format. With Gridlock, you can place icons anywhere on the iOS home screen. Normally, if you move an icon, the next one will move to its...

The new jailbreak extension CustomGrid 2, introduced recently in Cydia, allows you to place iPhone desktop icons anywhere on the screen in any order. Using CustomGrid 2, you can set the total number of icons, the number of rows and columns on each page of the springboard, change the spacing between icons horizontally and vertically, and even hide application names. There are many tweaks for the iPad, but some of them do not work on IOS 6, some have been abandoned by developers, some are still being optimized for the new OS, for which I also described the way to download games for free in my article In this article I collected the best, in my opinion, tweaks for the iPad on iOS 6. The performance of all the tweaks listed below was personally tested by me on the iPad mini with iOS 6.1.2.

Springtomize 2

Activator

Another tweak that significantly expands the functionality of iOS, but unlike Springtomize, it does not work with the interface, but with gestures and buttons. Activator allows you to customize the action for any gesture - these are swipe and multi-touch gestures for 3-5 fingers. In addition to gestures in Activator, you can bind actions to double and triple presses of all buttons, including buttons on the headset, and even set an action for the accelerometer when the device is shaking. The Activator tweak is free and can be downloaded from the BigBoss repository.

Dimmer

Dimmer tweak settings window

If you like to read in the dark, then you obviously know that doing this on the iPad is not very comfortable due to the fact that the minimum brightness is too high there. Tweak Dimmer solves just this problem. Unfortunately, the principle of the tweak is not described on the developer's website, but as far as I was able to find out, it does not consist in lowering the actual brightness of the backlight, but in overlaying a “dark film” with adjustable transparency over the image. This tweak is not Russified, so I will briefly describe the setup principle.

  • Dark point adjustment– setting the minimum brightness value. I do not advise you to set it to zero, otherwise when you move the system brightness slider to the initial position, the screen will completely darken.
  • Dimmer/Backlight threshold- sets the brightness threshold at which the Dimmer stops working and the brightness begins to be adjusted as usual.
  • volume activation- enable quick adjustment with the volume rocker.
  • safety brightness– safe brightness value. If you accidentally removed the brightness and zero and nothing is visible on the screen, press the "volume up" four times in a row and the brightness will be restored to "safe"
  • darken brightness– low brightness level. Activated by pressing the "volume down" key four times in a row.

Dimmer for iOS 6 costs $1 and is distributed through the BigBoss repository. For earlier versions of iOS, there is a hacked version in the ihacksrepo.com repository

KillBackground

KillBackground tweak settings window

The name speaks for itself, the KillBackground tweak is designed to quickly clear the memory of all background applications. After installing the tweak, a small icon appears in the multitasking panel, by pressing which you will close all applications at the same time. At the same time, KillBackground is highly configurable and there is also a filter that allows you to specify the applications that you want to keep in memory. KillBackground can be downloaded for free from the BigBoss repository.

SwipeSelection

I think many will agree that moving the cursor on iOS is not implemented in the best way. Tweak SwipeSelection offers a great solution to this problem - moving the cursor with a swipe on the keyboard. And I must say that it is implemented just fine. There were no false positives on the iPad mini. Please note that the tweak does not have any settings, it works immediately after installation, so if you want to disable it, then this is done only by removing it from Cydia.
You can download SwipeSelection absolutely free in the BigBoss repository.

NC settings

Settings and tweak view NC Settings

NC Settings is probably the first thing users install after a jailbreak. It's no secret that the functionality of the curtain in iOS is much inferior to that in Android. And to change many basic parameters, you constantly have to climb into the jungle of the menu. NC Settings makes the shutter in iOS a really convenient tool, namely, it allows you to put the most necessary switches there: WiFi, Bluetooth, brightness, volume, and much more. Moreover, it all looks very organic, it works stably, and it is very convenient to use. In order for the switches to appear in the curtain, after installing and configuring the tweak, you will need to enable it in the notification center.
NCSettings is free and can be downloaded from the BigBoss repository.

Display Recorder

Display Recorder tweak settings

Display recorder is a one-of-a-kind iPad screen video capture tool. Moreover, video can be recorded from any application, including games. The display recorder is quite flexible, although many of the settings are very arbitrary. So, the number of frames per second is adjusted by the slider more / less without clear parameters, and the compression ratio is simply indicated as high / low / medium. Video can be recorded with sound, but the sound is recorded only through a microphone. When recording, you can turn on the display of touches, as well as customize their appearance. Activation of the record can be hung up on any action, this will require the presence of the Activator tweak. There is also a function to send videos directly to YouTube, for this, in the Display recorder settings, you need to specify the username and password of your account. You can buy this tweak in the BigBoss repository for $5.

Safari Download Manager

Tweak Safari Download Manager in the browser

If you use the iOS browser to the fullest, then you will obviously need a download manager, which is not available by default in Safari. Safari download manager is fully integrated into the browser, allowing you to fully manage your downloads. In the settings of the tweak, you can specify which types of files should be downloaded using the download manager and which not, you can also limit the number of simultaneous downloads. You can open downloaded files directly from the browser, in the drop-down menu of the manager. Keep in mind that the download manager stores all downloaded files in a directory. You can buy Safari download manager from the BigBoss repository for $5, or download it for free from the repo.hackyouriphone.org repository

iFile

Probably the most requested tweak for the iPad is the file manager. iFile allows you to fully manage the file system on iOS. In addition to the banal copy / paste, iFile can send files to email as attachments, archive them and transfer via Bluetooth, as well as create bookmarks for folders. Separately, it is worth noting the presence of a built-in file search and shortcuts for programs, documents, music and downloads. This is very handy given the unfriendly folder structure in iOS. IFile is distributed in a paid version and free, with reduced functionality.
You can buy the full version of iFile in the BigBoss repository for $4 or download it for free in the Hack repository

The iOS 6.1.2 was released after much anticipation and turned out to be a relief for many iPhone users. This is largely due to the fact as it is now possible to make use of and enjoy so many Jailbreak tweaks that otherwise couldn't be used by most users.

Before we start off with the list, it is important to note that the iPhone should be / 6.1.3 firmware.

Although the creation of the iOS 5 keyboard shortcut feature reduced the usefulness of this tweak, it still has its uses. #7: Swipe Selection

This jailbreak is probably what has started this whole revolution of jailbreaking and is absolutely necessary to have this. It allows the user of the iPhone to edit text entries and place the text cursor through the simple use of a swipe, making it extremely functional. This feature cements its place on this list.

#8: IntelliScreenX

This impressive tweak allows the user to access the Twitter feed, e-mail and RSS all through a single touch, making it important for those who want instant access to their news feeds. To gain extra mileage from it, try changing the Messages Quick Compose/ Reply Setting to Bite SMS.

#9: winter board

This tweak allows one to customize the appearance of their Apple device in whatever manner they see fit. Despite claims of it slowing down the speed there is no fear for anyone who possesses an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5. Users would also be mesmerized by WinterBoard themes available for this tweak.

You may have a natural question: "What's next?". In this article, we will talk about the next steps after jailbreaking iOS 6.1 and the basic terms, namely: repositories, AppSync iOS 6+, ipa and tweaks from Cydia.

Jailbreak(Jailbreak, Jailbreak) - hacking the operating system, in which the user gets full access to the file system.

According to Apple's policy, the iOS file system is initially closed from users, which means that any modification of it is considered theoretically impossible. However, especially all the same, they find the “keys” to iOS and open it for public use.

In order to get an exploit (a program that will hack iOS), you need to find vulnerabilities or, in other words, “holes” in the security of the operating system. Finding new vulnerabilities becomes more difficult every year, and lately hackers have been forced to create teams specifically for the development of the next exploit.

The resulting exploit is “wrapped” in a graphical shell (GUI), tested and posted to the public. This is how the iOS 6.1 jailbreak came about.

Why do you need a jailbreak?

1. Unlock (Unlock, unlock, decoupling, unlocking).

From 2007 to 2010, namely for devices, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and partially iPhone 4, the main condition for unlocking a smartphone (decoupling from the operator) was a jailbreak. Software unlocking was the most popular and easiest way to “teach” a locked iPhone to call. After hacking the firmware - jailbreak, the user got the opportunity to programmatically modify the firmware of the device's modem, thereby forcing the smartphone to accept SIM cards of any operator.

Since 2011 (iPhone 4S and above), only one person managed to create a new generation software unlock - Sam Bingner, but his solution lasted only 4 days and was closed by Apple.

Due to the difficulties in developing a software unlock for the iPhone, and also, according to which a fine of $ 500,000 or imprisonment for a period of 5 years is imposed for unlocking a smartphone, the popularity of this jailbreak use is gradually losing its relevance.

In order to unlock iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 you need to apply .

2. Piracy (installation of hacked paid applications from the App Store).

An equally popular jailbreak movement on iOS, which has existed since 2007. With the help of jailbreak, the user gets the opportunity to install paid programs and games for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for free. The most famous way to install pirated programs and games is the apptrackr.cd web application, which hosted tens of thousands of links to hacked paid applications (in .ipa format) from the App Store online store.

December 30, 2012 project administration Installous and apptrackr.cd services. At the moment, there are several analogues of the application, among which one can distinguish, and others.

3. Modding (programmatically changing the design and interface of iOS).

Many users speak negatively about iOS due to the inability to personalize the graphical shell and interface of the operating system, similar to that implemented in Android. However, with the help of a jailbreak, this restriction is removed to a more than sufficient extent. With the help of so-called (tweaks) you can significantly expand the functionality, usability and appearance of iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Where to begin?

After you have received a jailbreak on your iOS device, the Cydia application will appear on one of the screens. We talked in detail about what Cydia is.

Before launching Cydia for the first time, make sure that your device has Internet access.

Click on the Cydia icon and just watch the process. This may take several minutes. Cydia will update the packages necessary for the work, and if updates are found, you will be prompted to install them. You can see the number of available updates next to the Changes section in the red circle. We recommend that you install all available updates.

Regardless of how you plan to use your jailbroken device, you need to understand the term - repository.

You can learn about what a repository is, as well as instructions for installing repositories.

List of popular Cydia repositories:

First, install the repository sinfuliphonerepo.com, in it you will find everything you need for the first time. To search, use the Cydia search (tab Search).

If you are interested in installing hacked applications (in .ipa format), then the first thing you need is a jailbreak tweak AppSync iOS 6+(or for other version of iOS). For quick access to the most important switches (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, screen brightness, etc.), install the tweak with which you will receive the add-on. We also recommend mastering the application - the best file manager for iOS.

For software unlocking iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 with modem firmware versions 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00 install the tweak. The necessary instructions can be found in the section.

To change the appearance of iOS, use the tweak and various themes for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, which can be downloaded from Cydia ( Sections -> Thems)

Attention! All actions you perform at your own peril and risk! The site administration is not responsible for failed iOS devices.
