This is not my first purchase on Aliexpress. Prior to that, the Jiayu G3 and the cover for it were purchased. I already sold the G3 and did not think about the review, but I also use the cover with the current phone, I will review it a little later.

The first step is tracking. 23 days from the date of receipt of the correct track (25 from the date of receipt of the wrong one). Well, against the background of 36 days of anxious waiting for the first G3 - a pretty good result. There were also problems with the receipt - the stubborn "workers" of the Russian Post, in a rather rude and mocking manner, announced to me that they would not look for anything without notification. I had no time to wait for a notification, so after the threat of writing a complaint about them, they immediately had a desire to find me a package.

What surprised me was the absence of any hints of instructions. Later I realized why - they sewed an electronic instruction in Chinese right into the phone. The move is quite controversial. I apologize, I don't have screenshots (whoever has them - share them, I'll add them to the review, I didn't think about them right away).

Externally, the G3S differs from the G3 in the designation of the slots for SIM cards: in the G3 they are designated "G" and "W" like; G3S has SIM1 and SIM2.

Now the batteries. To begin with, two original Li-Ion 2750mAh batteries were supposed to arrive. And the original Li-Pol 3000mAh arrived (these come from the 1.5 GHz G3T) and the fake Li-Ion 2750mAh (weighs 44 grams instead of 54). The seller resisted and by hook or by crook proves that this plant supplies fake batteries. I asked for a moneyback for this - there was zero response. If tomorrow does not answer, I will open a dispute. Until then, here's a photo of the batteries.

We charge a 3000mAh battery in the phone, insert an MTS SIM card and a 16GB flash drive. Everything goes with a bang. By the way, about the battery - supposedly 2750mAh started up right away; 3000mAh only by charging, although it was 55% charged approximately.

And let's go straight to the review of the phone's appearance, although it seems to me that everyone has already seen it. The left end is empty; on the right - a volume rocker, with which you can still unlock the phone (and the "+" on it allows you to take a picture in camera mode); top edge - 3.5mm jack socket and on / off button; at the bottom there is an inverted micro-USB connector and a hole for a microphone.

The back panel is VERY easily soiled, as many have already said, and on a silver phone (I had a silver G3) it is not so noticeable. That is why such a beautiful back surface ...

... turns into something terrible in the blink of an eye.

By the way, about the complete film. It was enough for me for a couple of days. Now I know that I have to be careful. Already ripped off. We must look for a high-quality and matte finish.

Now the bumper. Looks pretty decent.

However, as soon as you put it on your phone, some problems emerged. It seems that this bumper is one of those that are made anyhow and cost less than a dollar. From below, he did not sit at all at first, but after a couple of days of use it seemed to take shape and now the situation is better.

Now z / y and an adapter for the euro plug. Honestly - I still do not understand what current the s / y is designed for - probably stupid. The 3000mAh battery was charged in ~ 3 hours. It seems like they found out that s / y for 1A. Taking the adapter to our plug in my hands, at first I thought that it would fall apart - it felt like a completely unreliable thing. But I seem to have withstood a couple of charges already, so it's not all that bad.

I would also like to say about the headphones. This is just the case when there is no desire to throw out the complete headphones as soon as possible. With small external differences (no identification marks Jiayu), these ears have already been described by a comrade.

Well, I suggest you compare the sizes of cardboard boxes from Jiayu G3 and Jiayu G3S. Unfortunately, I didn't have a plastic case from the G3.

It's time to start the phone. And the first thing we see is an excellent 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, covered with Gorilla Glass (and I have no reason to doubt that). I don’t know how much I managed to convey his coolness in the photo - probably not how much. But the display is great.

Now let's move on to testing the camera. The front one is declared as 2.0, and in principle it looks like the truth. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures with it. Therefore, I will show you the pictures with the rear 8-megapixel camera (which I squeezed to 40% of the original size; this did not affect the quality, in general you can have an idea of the quality. 4mb).

Panoramas are not bad for the phone. I was persuaded, the panoramas are terrible. But there is.

The phone is preinstalled with not the cleanest Android version 4.2.1 with root, a pack of Chinese programs and a launcher from Jiayu (which, as far as I understand, is taken from LeWa OS and remade). It even has interchangeable themes.

Then I, one might say, freaked out and sewed MIUI OS based on Android 4.2.1 into my phone. Recovery TWRP was installed in a minute, for another 3 - MIUI itself from the recovery. For 2 minutes it started up, after which the phone was ready for work. Personally, I liked this firmware much more than my native one.

However, AnTuTu Tester showed about 600 fewer parrots.

First, about the sound. The speaker is good, the interlocutor can be heard even in crowded places. The external speaker sounds very good and loud, and even at the maximum it does not break into a wheeze and continues to play at a good level.
Of the not-so-bad headphones, I have the Explay MPH335 earplugs (honestly, nothing else). The phone "pumps" them to the fullest, the sound is loud and clear, there is bass, and very juicy, I like it.

Now about GPS. The method described by a friend in the comments helped, namely:

Now installed 3000mAh, with very intensive use by the evening 20 percent remains. If only for calls, an hour and a half of the Internet and the same amount of games - then two days are enough calmly. Eats 1-2% per night in the usual (not air) mode.

Wi-Fi works stably, in general, the phone itself does not slow down and does not glitch, everything is very clear and fast, it is pleasant to manipulate.
Okay, how's it going with the telephone part? Not a bad thing. Both the spoken and ringing speakers are loud and of high quality. I have no complaints about the quality of the connection (the operation of the transceiver, the voice codec): I can hear perfectly and clearly, and so do me. The device does not lose its network even in an elevator (only Motorola could boast of this).
With the load "only calls" plus several times orientation by GPS (wi-fi is on, bluetooth is on, one SIM card) for 20 minutes a day - over two days. It could have been better ... But it will do - the battery is already 3Ah, much more ...
