San Martino di Castrozza (San Martino di Castrozza) is considered to be one of the most beautiful resorts in the Dolomites. The resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski system, its southernmost region. It consists of several small towns: primarily San Marino di Castrozza, but also Transacqua, Tonadico, Fiera di Primiero, Mezzano, Siror and Imer.

There are not so many trails in this area - only 60 kilometers in total, they are mainly aimed at athletes with an average level of training. There are few suitable places for experts, but they are still there.
San Marino di Castrozza consists of two main zones: San Martino and Passo Rolle, the distance between them is approximately 9 kilometers or 20 minutes by bus.
The resort has a modern system of artificial snow-covering of trails. Some trails are illuminated in the evenings. The slopes are serviced by 22 different types of lifts.
For beginner athletes, there are two schools where you can learn both alpine skiing and snowboarding, and telemark. There is a cross-country ski school, kindergartens with special tracks and playgrounds.

Description of routes.
The slopes of the resort are mainly intended for beginners as well as athletes with intermediate experience.
Right next to the town of San Marino di Castrozza, there is a training slope served by two drag lifts. Having overcome several relatively difficult "red" slopes, you can get to the Malga-Ces area, where lovers of calm skiing will find a large number of comfortable slopes that can be classified as "blue".
For skiers of average experience, just about any location in the resort will do. Most of the runs of medium difficulty are concentrated on the slopes of Punta-Ces, slightly more difficult runs start from Cima Tognola. Fans of off-piste skiing will also like this area, there is more than enough space for this, and it is quite remote from the main routes of the resort.
For professionals, there is little interesting here, in one day you can master all the marked tracks. They can recommend the “black and red” slope called Direttissima, 2 kilometers long, which is located at Punta Cez and the area of Cima Tognola for off-piste skiing.
Of the 60 kilometers - the total length of all the resort's tracks - 10 kilometers can be classified as "blue", 31 - to "red" and 19 - to "black".

After skiing, the resort invites its guests to spend time in one of its 15 restaurants, in a disco, in a concert hall or cinema, as well as in numerous cafes, wine cellars and bars. Shopping lovers will appreciate the large number of shops and shops, and the prices in them are quite reasonable.
