There are no other criteria by which the “Pixel” would be superior to the iPhone X. Yes, there is a cool and TOP Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset at the time of the flagship's release, but it will not compete with the Apple A11 Bionic (recall that even the new Snapdragon 845 could not overtake the A11 chip). Also, there is no advanced face scanning and unlocking technology in the Google gadget. The third analogue is Huawei P20 and P20 Pro
The flagship was presented at the end of March 2018 - it received a Kirin 970 mobile chipset with a Mali-G72 video core with 12 video processors. This hardware has already been used in the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, so there is nothing fundamentally new in terms of performance.
The main difference and advantage is the three cameras on the back of the flagship. One of them received a resolution of 40 megapixels and an aperture of f / 1.8. The module is intended for obtaining frames in a very high definition- 7296x5472 points.
The second module in the P20 Pro is monochrome. Its resolution is 20 megapixels, the aperture is f / 1.6. It is designed to detect light and expand dynamic range.
The third received a resolution of only 8 megapixels with an f / 2.4 aperture - it received a lens with a 3x optical zoom. True, this module works only in strong light, and in low light, the software automatically switches to another module, and then the photo is obtained with digital zoom (not optical). Note that almost all flagships with two lenses have only 2x zoom, so the P20 Pro in mid-2018 is the only gadget with 3x zoom.
And also - presumably, the P20 got a pixel size of 2 microns, and this is the highest result today. Also, Huawei (or Leica) has implemented smart software that understands the plot of the scene and automatically adjusts the shooting parameters to get the best result. In terms of performance (operating speed), there are no phones on the market that could “compete” with the iPhone X. One can only imagine gadgets with more or less decent cameras:
