But the background from the picture had to be somehow removed, I began to surf the Internet, in search of a solution to my problem. There are actually a lot of options, but I was looking for something easier)). I found a very easy and simple way to remove the background from the picture.

And so, let's get started. We need photoshop, but since I don't have it. I use online Photoshop. It's very handy, I'll tell you. And of course the picture whose background we want to make transparent.

I will show you with an example, here is such a picture, we will remove the white background

We go to online photoshop. I used this one PIXLR

Choose: Upload image from computer.

Now go to the panel, which is located on the left, select the tool "Magic wand" and tolerance set to 21.

The main thing is to specify a picture on your computer or phone, and then click the OK button at the bottom of this page. By default, the plain background of the picture is replaced by a transparent one. The background color of the original image is determined automatically, you just need to specify in the settings what color to replace it with. The main parameter that affects the quality of the replacement is the "Intensity of replacement" and it can be different for each picture.

First example with a rose flower on a transparent background is made with the following settings:
1) Replacement intensity - 38;
2) Smoothing around the edges - 5;
3) Replace the solid background with a transparent one;
4) Cropping (<0) или Добавление (>0) along the edges - "-70";
5) Invert - disabled (check not checked).

For creating second example, with a white background, the same settings were used as in the first example, except for the parameter: "Replace plain background with" - white. AT third example, with a green background, the settings are also used, as in the first example, except for the parameter: "color in hex format" - #245a2d.

The original image is not changed in any way. You will be given another processed picture with a transparent background or the background you specify.

The difference between the PNG format and other formats for graphics is that transparent or partially transparent parts of the image remain transparent when saved.   • Much depends on which graphics editor you are working in. The simplest programs, such as the standard Paint editor, do not generally support transparency. More functional programs Paint.net, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop(and similar ones) allow you to adjust the transparency of images and support working with layers.
  • To adjust the transparency (partial transparency) of an image or any part of it, create new layers and use your editor's tools to adjust the display of layers. Depending on the editor, you may need to merge all layers before saving.
  • To save the image as you see it in the editor, select in top line menu item "File" (File). From the drop-down menu, select the "Save as" command. In the dialog box that opens, specify the directory for saving the file, in the "File name" field, enter the name under which you want to save the file. In the "File type" (Format) field, select PNG (*.PNG) from the drop-down list and click on the "Save" button.
  • In the event that merging layers leads to a loss of transparency, either save the image without merging the layers, or install a tool for your editor that allows you to export layers in .png format without losing transparency (for example, in Adobe Photoshop standard tools this cannot be achieved, since there is no .png extension in the list of formats).
  • Download the corresponding script from the Internet. Set as background transparent layer, and place the main image on another layer. Select the "File" item in the top menu bar, the "Scripts" item in the expanded menu and the "Export Layers to File" command.
  • In the dialog box that opens, select the directory to save the layers, set the marker in the field opposite the words Fast Mode (Don "t remove hidden layers), select the .png format in the "File Type" field and click the "Run" button. This action will cause you to save two files: one is "empty", the other will contain an image with your transparency settings.

    • Sometimes it becomes necessary to change the picture by making the background transparent in it. Sometimes a picture will come across, but its background does not fit your site, and you want to make it transparent. Of course, if you have Photoshop and know how to work on it, you can do it there too. But there is an easier way, so to speak, "for dummies".

    While surfing the Internet one day, I came across an article about Pixlr Photo Editor. By the way, this is not a regular graphic editor, but an online editor. Here is a link to it - http://pixlr.com/editor/ .

    It is this program that will help us make a picture with a transparent background in PNG format.

    To do this, go to the program, select the item "Open image from computer" (Open image from computer) and load the desired image. Immediately change the program language to Russian (menu Language-> Russian language).
