How to change with your own hands: instructions

It is not necessary to call a plumber to replace the cartridge in the faucet. Its installation will not cause any special difficulties. IN different models disc cartridge mixers may differ from each other in diameter, seating part and stem length. The most common diameter is 40 mm (marked as d40). But often there are cartridges with a diameter of 35 mm. Outwardly, they are no different, except for the size.

The very first thing is to buy good ink for the cartridge. If you decide to save money and choose bad paint, then the quality of the photos will be poor. Another disadvantage of low-quality ink is that it dries quickly and does not print in some places on paper.

It is noteworthy that cartridge manufacturers never produce ink for them and special refill kits. They want people to buy their refilled cartridges. Therefore, do not try to find original ink, which simply does not exist in nature.

So, you bought ink. For refueling you will need a syringe. At the top end of the cartridge there is a hole (it is glued with a sticker) through which air escapes. It has a very small size, but the syringe needle will fit.

There is another option for refueling. With the thinnest drill, make a hole in the cartridge, fill the paint there, then carefully close the hole with plasticine. You can even use regular chewing gum. It will all work, but only if you type a lot. If your ink dries up, you won't be able to clean the cartridge.

Replacing and refilling the laser cartridge

This plug is located behind one of the side covers. It is easy to remove - just unscrew a couple of screws. Remove the cork and simply pour the toner inside. Just do it carefully and do not allow it to be sprayed around the room.

If there was no cork under the cover, then this is the structure of the cartridge itself. To refill it, you will have to open it completely and pour the toner into the gap that has formed. In this case, refueling is much more complicated. Therefore, when choosing a laser printer, you need to specify which cartridge is used inside.

There are also chip cartridges, which, after refilling, may simply not work. At home, you will not be able to refuel such models. However, in special services they are refilled and new chips are attached, which are perceived by the printer. This may become an additional difficulty. Therefore, before changing a cartridge in a printer or refilling it with toner, check whether a chip is used there. If you replace the original cartridge with a chip with a non-original one, then it simply will not work.
