Remove the back cover of the Samsung washing machine. How to disassemble a washing machine: step by step instructions

To fix the vast majority of faults with your own hands, you should know how the Indesit washing machine is disassembled.

If, after 5-7 years of operation, repairs are required, this is quite normal. The only question is who to entrust the repair of the SM: a good master, or try to fix everything on your own? In this article, we will look at how to remove the top and back cover washing machine Indesit, we will explain the sequence of disassembling the case.

Washing Indesit is not much different from a similar brand Ariston. But there are still differences in the process of disassembly and repair, while the tool will need almost the same. So, arm yourself with these devices:

  • Open wrenches 8-18 millimeters.
  • A set of heads and a crank.
  • Pliers and pliers.
  • Screwdrivers - slotted and Phillips. It may be more convenient to use one screwdriver (regular or electric) with a set of nozzles.
  • A small set of socket wrenches.
  • A multimeter.
  • With a hammer.
  • Saw-hacksaw (for metal).
  • Markers.
  • Shilom.

If you are not going to repair the electrical component of the machine, then the multimeter may not be needed. Take a regular tester - it might come in handy.

Now that you have all the necessary set of tools, you just need a clear disassembly diagram.

Equip workplace... If the machine is in a miniature bathroom 1x1.5 m, then there will be nowhere to unfold the entire tool and turn around. Great if you have a garage or workshop. But if there is nothing of the kind, then transfer the machine to the kitchen or at least to the hallway. You will need at least 2 m 2 of free space.

In general, the preparation of the site for disassembling the Indesit machine is as follows:

Now that everything is ready, you can try to disassemble the Indesit washing machine with your own hands.

The first thing to do is remove the cover. It is fastened with two bolts from the side of the rear panel. Pick a suitable screwdriver and unscrew the fasteners, then pull the cover towards you a little and lift it up - that's it, the panel is dismantled.

The second step is to remove the cover from the back. The service hatch is fixed with six screws - unscrew them with a suitable screwdriver.

Having removed the interfering panels - the back and the top, you will see in front of you a part of the "insides" of the washing machine. Using them, you can access the tank.

Proceed to remove the drive belt:

  • Grasp the pulley with one hand.
  • Hold the belt with your other hand.
  • Spin the pulley.

If everything is correct, the strap will slide off easily.

Examine the back wall behind the pulley. If you notice oil stains or streaks of rusty color, then the bearings are already unusable, and you need to disassemble the washing Indesit car to replace them.

Proceed like this:

  • Find the heating element (its shank is visible under the tank). Remove all wiring from the heater contacts. Unscrew the nut located in the center of the shank between the contacts. Having loosened the element, remove it from the groove.

Important! Many leave the heating element in the tank, disassembling the washing machine. But this requires caution - during the disassembly process, the contacts can be damaged or broken, and then the heating element will have to be changed.

Here good video on how to remove the heating element from the Indesit brand washing machine:

  • Remove the wiring and chips from the electric motor. Take the knob and head 10mm to remove the 2 bolts that hold the motor. Remove the engine and set it aside.

  • Switch to the top: above the top wall, you will see a large stone - the manufacturers called it a counterweight (it protects the machine from loosening). It is attached, as a rule, with 3 bolts. They can be removed with a socket wrench. After removing the counterweight, set it aside.

Important! The counterweight is very heavy - be careful not to drop or damage it.

You are now separated from the tank by just a couple of parts - for example, the control panel. To remove it, follow our recommendations:

  • Unscrew the fasteners (they are located at the niche of the powder dispenser).
  • Remove another mount that is hidden in the left front corner of the CM body.
  • Pull up to release the block from the latches that hold it.

Important! Do not make sudden movements, otherwise you will cut off the wiring.

  • Disconnect the wires that connect the panel to the intake valve.
  • Set the part aside so that it does not interfere with you (hang it on a service hook, if you have one).

In the video you will find Additional information about disassembling the front panel and removing the control panel:

Further disassembly

Now you need to access the tank from the front. To do this, work with the cuff:

  • Find the clamp holding the sealing gum.
  • Hook it up with a very thin screwdriver.
  • Run the screwdriver in a circle until you hit the mount.
  • Unscrew the mount.
  • Remove the clamp.
  • Tuck the elastic into the drum.

We disassemble the Indesit washing machine further:

  1. Walk around the machine.
  2. Unscrew the fastener near the water inlet hose.
  3. Now you can pull out two parts at once: the inlet valve and the niche of the detergent receiver.

Be careful! Disconnect the powder receptacle tube before removing the niche. To do this, open the clamp.

Important! The mount is made of plastic, so remove the sensor carefully so as not to break it.

  1. Lay the washer on its side.
  2. Since this brand usually does not have a bottom, you will immediately see the drain pipe and stands. The tank cannot be removed with these parts.

How to remove the branch pipe and stands:

  • Loosen and remove the clamps holding the nipple.

  • Pull off the nipple.
  • Taking a 10 socket wrench, unscrew the fasteners that hold the racks.
  • Remove the racks.
  • Raise the clipper and put it in its original position.

The longest disassembly stage has been completed, you can safely proceed to the tank.

The trouble is that the manufacturer did not provide a collapsible tank, so it needs to be cut. To remove the tank, it is pulled off the springs and lifted up.

Important! When removing the tank, be careful not to break the wires or damage the cuff.

If you still have questions about cutting the tank, watch the video, which clearly shows disassembling the machine, cutting the tank, and replacing the bearings:

To remove the rear half of the tank, follow the instructions:

  • Unscrew the nut that holds the drum pulley.
  • Remove the pulley.
  • Screw a suitable bolt into the thread (not from a typewriter).
  • Lean a block of wood against the bolt.
  • Hit the block with a hammer.
  • A strong blow should move half of the tank.

When the remaining half of the tank is knocked down, you will be left with a drum, behind which a shaft sticks out, and seals and bearings are installed on it. Now you can remove them in one of the following ways:

  1. Find a special car puller.
  2. Take the drum to a workshop and ask the mechanics to remove the bearings. They usually do it quickly and easily for a nominal fee.

After removing the bearings, you can easily install new ones, and then reassemble everything. Assembly will be the same as disassembly, except for the tank.

It is impossible to "wash down" the tank back, but a good sealant will perfectly glue both halves. But even this is not enough - you will need to secure the tank with bolts.

If you understand how to disassemble the Indesit washing machine, then you can put both the tank and the whole machine back.

Any washing machine can fail, especially if it has served for more than one year. After the end of the warranty period, most amateur craftsmen try to fix the malfunctions on their own. Often, in order to carry out repairs, you have to look for the cause of the breakdown, and for this you have to get to the internal parts.

How to disassemble a washing machine Samsung car do it yourself, what is needed for this and what is the sequence of actions - you will find the answers to these questions in the article.

Preparation

Disassembling a washing machine is not difficult if the owner of the appliance has minimal skills in electrical engineering and plumbing. In models brand Samsung, such as, for example, S821, WF-S861, S803J, WF6458N7W, it is not difficult to access the main mechanisms.

For disassembly and subsequent repair of the washing machine, you need to choose a bright and spacious place where nothing will interfere with your work.

Whatever machine you are going to repair, it is important to start with preparing a workplace and tools that will come in handy during the disassembly process. Of course, you can get started with a few screwdrivers and wrenches. But if the machine requires a detailed inspection and subsequent repair, it is better to prepare everything you need at once. So, you may need:

  • hammer;
  • nippers;
  • screwdrivers (slotted and curly);
  • open-end wrenches;
  • heads (socket wrenches);
  • pliers;
  • hacksaw;
  • pliers;
  • ticks;
  • soldering iron.

It is important to prepare in advance and auxiliary materials - liquid for softening nut fasteners WD-40, silicone sealant and lubricant for hinge elements. It is convenient to have a clean rag on hand to wipe your hands or residual liquid from the machine. Experienced craftsmen advise beginners to photograph each stage of disassembling the unit so that it is easier to assemble the device after the repair is completed, therefore, you need to prepare the camera.

The preparation stage may not seem so important, but the result largely depends on the quality of its implementation.

Samsung washing machine diagram

Before starting to disassemble the washing machine, it is advisable to get an idea of its structure. The unit diagram will show the location of the functional parts and will help with repairs.

If you suspect that the problems are caused by poorly coordinated electronics, it is helpful to have on hand electrical circuit unit.

For an ordinary user, a schematic representation of the device of a typewriter may seem complicated and incomprehensible, but if you want to understand the scheme, any person can do it.

How to disassemble the unit yourself: step by step instructions

To properly disassemble your Samsung washing machine, we recommend that you follow the steps below. You need to start the process with removing the top cover, for which you need to take a screwdriver and unscrew the two self-tapping screws located at the back of the machine. Then, gently slide the cover forward slightly and remove it from the case. If you need to inspect the pulley and belt drive of the motor, simply pull the counterweight towards you.

Next step - dismantling the detergent drawer... Open the container, push down on the locking latch and pull the compartment towards you as you would take it out for cleaning. A little harder remove the cuff- rubber drum seal. Using a screwdriver, gently detach the retaining ring and remove it from the cuff. Perform the procedure slowly so as not to accidentally damage the rubber. Next, wrap the rubber piece inside the drum.

Remove the bottom panel, under which there is a drain hose and filter, is not difficult. In typewriters Samsung detail is fixed with latches, so you just need to detach it from the case. As a result, a drain pump becomes available. To get it, you will need to remove the clamps with pliers and unscrew a few screws with a curly screwdriver.

Then go to dashboard, under which the electronic control unit is located. To remove the part, you need to unscrew the self-tapping screws located in the niche of the dispenser for detergents and on the opposite side of the panel. Then unfasten the latches and separate the control unit from the machine body. The part can be left hanging on the wires or placed on the top of the unit, but it is still better to disconnect it from the wires and put it aside.

After the above manipulations, start dismantling the facade surface. How remove the front panel washing machine Samsung? To do this, it is enough to unscrew the fasteners and lightly separate the panel from the case.

When removing the front panel, do not forget to first disconnect the sunroof lock from the wires connected to it.

To remove the back panel, unscrew the 4 bolts at the back and set the part to the side. Now you need disconnect all hoses, which are attached to the tank of the unit: inlet and outlet, as well as pipes leading to the pressure switch and the compartment for detergents. Use a screwdriver to remove the clamps first.

Then you should do tubular electric heater(Heating element): dismantle or simply disconnect from the wires. Usually the heating element is located at the bottom of the tank under the drum. If you need to replace the heating element, unscrew the nuts and completely remove it from the socket. At this stage also disconnect the wires from the motor... There are a lot of contacts, so you need to photograph or write down the sequence of connections so as not to confuse anything during assembly.

You also need remove counterweights located at the top and bottom of the tank. Unscrew the bolts with a suitable wrench and set the weights aside.

Now move on to a more complex process - tank recess. This work it is better to do it not alone, but with an assistant. First, unscrew the bolts that attach the shock absorbers to the tank and disconnect them. With the help of an assistant, slowly and carefully remove the part from the springs and pull it out. Next, you need to separate the engine from the tank. Disconnect the drive belt first, then unscrew the bolts holding the motor and remove it. Finally, dismantle the pulley.

To replace the bearings in the drum, it is necessary disassemble the tank... The task becomes more complicated if the part turns out to be non-separable. In this case, you will have to saw it, repair the bearings, seal the joints and glue the parts together, or connect them with bolts and nuts.

In washing machines with a collapsible tub, for example, in Samsung models Diamond for 6 kg, replacement is much easier: the two halves of the tank can be fastened with tie bolts or latches that just need to be disconnected. Then you can get out the drum on which the bearings are located. To disassemble the bearing assembly, carefully knock out the metal rings with a hammer and chisel.

When replacing bearings, pay attention to the condition of the seat - it must not be damaged.

By removing the parts one by one, you can easily disassemble the washing machine and get to the parts that need repair. You need to collect equipment in reverse order without skipping any of the above steps.

Although modern manufacturers are trying to produce new washing machines of very high quality, there is a limit to everything. After long-term work, many parts wear out and often fail. In this case, renovations are required, which can be a heavy burden on the home budget. However, there is a simple option, in which it becomes possible not to pay money at all - to do everything with your own hands.

How to disassemble an imported side loading or horizontal loading washing machine

Washing machines are made according to modern technologies... And not everyone will be able to cope with their disassembly. Especially for those who do not have experience with the repair of complex mechanisms.

All washing machines perform the same function, but have different design features... In one case, linen is laid in them from above, and in the other from the side. As a result, the sequence of work is significantly different from each other. Therefore, when disassembling, and even more so during repairs, extreme caution, accuracy and special care are required.

Dismantling a side-loading or front-loading washing machine

For this tools required:

  1. Sockets for loosening nuts and bolts.
  2. Long handle or multiple attachments.
  3. Small bearing puller.
  4. Phillips and flat head screwdrivers.
  5. Medium hammer.
  6. Various wrenches.
  7. Powerful pliers.

Preparation

Before starting disassembly washing machine necessary create comfortable conditions for work. As a rule, the equipment is located in the bathroom, where limited space will not allow normal work. In this case, you first need to move the machine away from the wall, and then remove the hoses. But first, you should close the line to turn off the cold water. Usually the apartment always has a tap on the central pipeline. It just needs to be rotated 90 degrees.

Often, when connecting the washing machine, an additional tap is installed, which is very convenient. If you close it, then the water supply throughout the apartment will not stop, but only the machine will be turned off. The next step is to loosen the clamp and remove the hose. To do this, it is best to tighten the lower nut with pliers and unscrew the screw a little with a Phillips screwdriver. The second pipe, which goes to the drain, is even easier to disconnect. To do this, you just need to unscrew the nut by hand.

After disconnecting the hoses, it is better to move the machine to a more spacious room, where the room will allow you to freely disassemble. Upon completion of this work, you will need to prepare necessary tool... To do this, you need a screwdriver, heads, a driver, a hammer and pliers. If the machine works for a very long time, but never understood, then you will definitely need a puller, since old bearings are quite difficult to film without this device.

Disassembly procedure:

To learn how to disassemble imported machines with side or horizontal loading, it is best to use the example of Indesit. It is a very famous model that has good performance, durability and an excellent reputation. For 10 years of intensive work, it has practically no serious breakdowns. But there comes a time when the oil seals deteriorate from old age and the bearings begin to dangle. This is the most common breakdown. To fix it, you must first disassemble the machine, and then replace obsolete parts.

Disassembly of the washing machine begins with the top cover. First, unscrew two screws from the back. Then the platform is pushed back a little, and then it is calmly removed upward. Next, unscrew the three bolts and remove the counterweight from the machine. Then take out the powder receptacle box and unscrew all the screws that hold the control panel. If you pick it up, then it comes off easily.

After that, we disconnect all the terminals, and also take out the right valve and take out the large powder dispenser box. But before you lift it, you need to remove the branch pipe, which is attached to one elastic band. Then we remove the round cuff, where the door is located. Removing it is easy. First, pick out the gum with a screwdriver and take out the clamp in the form of a wire. And then the rubber can be easily removed towards the drum.

At the next stage, we go to the back, where we immediately unscrew all the cover bolts. Next, we remove the belt and go to the motor. It is fastened with two screws that need to be removed. But first you need to disconnect all the wiring. When all fasteners are removed, the motor will fall to the floor. It's easy to get it, you just have to tilt the machine and pull out by the shaft... At the back there is a tube with a valve where cold water is connected. It is attached to one screw, which also needs to be unscrewed, and then remove the entire device.

When all the work is done, you need to put the machine on its side and unscrew the shock absorber nuts. Then you will need to remove the pipe from the pump, and also disconnect all the wiring. After that, we put the body back in an upright position and calmly pull the entire drum up from the machine. At this, the main disassembly is considered complete, and you can proceed directly to the repair.

No matter how high-quality the washing machine is, no one is insured against breakdown. You can, of course, try to immediately contact service center with a request to fix the car, or you can try to disassemble it yourself. Actually, this is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. After all, all washing machines, no matter what brand they are, have a similar design and principle of operation.

Regardless of the brand of the washing machine, the process of disassembling it takes place in approximately the same sequence.

Dismantling the washing machine includes the following steps:

  1. Removing the top cover. This can be done by unscrewing the two self-tapping screws on the back of the machine. Next, the lid needs to be pushed a little away from you and as soon as it moves, you can remove it.
  2. Disassembly of the control panel. First, he pulls out the powder tray, and then the panel itself is unscrewed.
  3. Dismantling the front wall of the unit together with the loading hatch. First you need to detach the cuff and tuck it in. Then self-tapping screws are unscrewed, connecting the front panel with the door, after which the panel is slightly lifted and removed. You also need to disconnect the door lock wire.
  4. Removing the rear wall of the machine by unscrewing the bolts that secure it.
  5. Drum parsing. First, remove all hoses leading to the tank by unscrewing the clamps with a screwdriver. Next, the wires are disconnected from the heating element.
  6. Removing the counterweights located at the top and bottom of the tank. This is necessary so that the weight of the machine is slightly reduced and does not interfere with the removal of the tank.
  7. Unscrewing the shock absorbers. This can be done with a wrench - unscrew all the lower bolts securing the shock absorber to the washer body. Then you can carefully pull them out and remove the tank.
  8. Unscrewing the engine from the tank, after which you can begin to disassemble the individual parts.

By the way, it must be said separately about the removal of the back wall of the Zanussi washing machine. The fact is that it does not have removable side walls.

How to proceed in this case:

  • First, the screws located at the bottom of the rear wall of the case are unscrewed and the top cover is removed;
  • Further, there are special plugs on the walls and with the help of an awl they are pulled out of place;
  • The screws located under the plugs must be unscrewed;
  • Then it is worth unscrewing the screws on the plate located in the upper part of the case;
  • Next, it remains to remove the plastic fasteners under the filling tank by carefully prying the latches with a screwdriver;
  • At the end, the back part pulls towards itself and moves to the side, after which it can be removed.

This is how you can disassemble the washing machine. This guidance applies to almost any machine model.

In the process of disassembling the washing machine, it is better to photograph the entire procedure, step by step. Then in the reverse order to collect everything.

Guide: how to remove the control panel on a washing machine

When it becomes necessary to repair a washing machine, you have to disassemble it. But it is not always necessary to dismantle everything completely for this.

To remove the control panel, follow these steps:

  • First, the lower panel is removed, which is fastened with latches - you just need to pull it towards yourself, and if it does not work, bend the latches with a screwdriver;
  • Then you can proceed to the top panel - first, the tray for the powder is removed - to do this, you need to press on the marked area in the middle of the tray, and then unscrew all the screws that secure this tray to the panel;
  • After that, it remains to unscrew the screws holding the panel and pull it towards you.

You can leave the socket hanging on the wires, but this is undesirable, so it is better to carefully put it on top of the washing machine or disconnect all wires altogether.

Dismantling the heating element of the washing machine and its features

If the water cannot heat up during the operation of the washer, this most likely indicates a problem with the heating element. And in order to understand what the breakdown is and whether a replacement is needed, you need to pull it out of the machine.

Since the ten is always in the water, its location is at the bottom of the drum. But it should be borne in mind that different models machines, the location of this heating device can also be different.

You can get to the heating element in the following ways:

  • Through the back wall;
  • Through the sides;
  • Through the front wall.

Determining where exactly the ten is located is quite simple. If the cover of the machine is large or is located almost along the entire rear wall of the unit, we can say for sure that the heating element is behind the tank. You can get to it by unscrewing all the screws on the back cover.

If the lid is small, then the heating element can be accessed through the front panel, since in this case it is located in front of the tank. As a rule, this happens with machines from Bosch, LG and Samsung.

For some models of front-loading washing machines, access to the heating element can be obtained by unscrewing a couple of screws in the front on the bottom panel. If you need to disassemble a top-loading machine, then you need to remove any of the side panels to see the heating element.

After it becomes clear where the heating element is, you can start disassembling it:

  • Disconnect equipment from the network;
  • If the element is located at the back, you must first disconnect the drain pipe and the water supply;
  • Next, you need to drain the water from the car and remove the back cover;
  • If the heating element is in front, then the front panel is removed;
  • When the heating element is in direct visibility, you need to disconnect the terminals, sensor wires and ground;
  • After that, unscrew the nut that holds the element - it must be unscrewed almost to the end, and then slightly push the pin inward, and then tighten the nut;
  • After all the actions, it remains to gently shake the teng to get it out.

With such simple actions, you can pull out and replace the heating element in the washing machine.

Tips: how to disassemble a washing machine motor

The "heart" of any mechanism is its motor, and if it jams, then uninterrupted operation of the device is almost impossible. The same is the case with washing machines... The motor is responsible for the rotation of the drum, the functioning of the rinsing and spinning. It is removed and disassembled quite simply and this will not be a problem for those who have minimal knowledge of the device of household appliances.

Washing machines have two types of motors:

  • Collector;
  • Asynchronous with one phase.

Before proceeding with the analysis, you should understand which type is present in this machine. Let's say it's a collector. To remove it, you need to remove the back cover and disconnect the straps. Then unscrew the bolts holding it.

Do not forget to remove the electrical terminals from the motor in order to disconnect the motor from the power supply.

If the engine is trapped in the tank, then the latter needs to be raised a little, which will allow you to easily get to the engine. If the back cover does not allow access to the motor, you can remove one of the sides.
