We are not expecting this, not least because this solution appears to involve the introduction of a camera and sensors into the screen panel, but it is possible and certainly less ambitious than the flexible smartphone that we also hope to receive from Samsung. in 2019.

The usual "tenth galaxy" is good. But the top-end Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus with a large 6.4-inch screen is even better. The novelty became the most technically advanced flagship of the spring of 2019 and the star of the international exhibition MWC 2019, although it was presented on February 20.
Key features of the Galaxy S10 Plus became known back in the fall thanks to several major leaks. From them, we learned that the smartphone has finally received an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a triple main camera and a built-in storage based on UFS 3.0 flash memory with increased read and write speed.
Not without small regrets. For example, support for fifth-generation networks is provided by only one modification of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 5G, which will not be sold in all countries. Also, the new product does not use the high-speed LPDDR5 RAM, since the manufacturers of mobile chipsets have postponed its implementation.
But the new "ten with a plus" will delight its owners with the latest version of Android 9.0 Pie "out of the box" with the One UI shell, a dual selfie camera with phase detection autofocus, a 4100 mAh high-capacity battery, and the top-end modification of the Galaxy S10 Plus 12 Gb RAM + 1 Tb Flash.
At the same time, unlike most competitors, the Galaxy S10 + retains such useful options as the ability to install microSD memory cards and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Blindly imitating Apple, many smartphone manufacturers have abandoned them. But not everything that Cupertino comes up with is worth copying.

Playing ahead of the curve, Samsung postponed the presentation of the Galaxy S10 Plus and other modifications of the "dozen" to February 20. Secondly, as noted at the very beginning, the Galaxy S10 Plus's fingerprint scanner is built right into the screen. Samsung was very slow to develop this decision... They were waiting for him, in fact, for two whole years. However, it has finally come true, which is good news.
The rest of the S10 looks similar to its predecessors: curved edge edges, a back cover made of shock-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 6 glass, four mechanical buttons (one for power, two for volume and one for launch voice assistant), the upper location of the tray for SIM-cards and MicroSD, the lower one - the USB Type-C connector, 3.5 mm jack and the main speaker.
The color range of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has been compared to its predecessor. In total, there are seven options available in the world, two of which (more expensive) have a ceramic back cover... Only five colors are available in Russia and the CIS countries.

Traditionally, Samsung produces flagships based on both mobile processors of its own design from the Exynos line, and uses finished products from Qualcomm. In the case of the Galaxy S10 Plus, it turned out to be the Exynos 9820 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (SDM855).

Due to such a distribution of computing cores, it is possible to achieve an optimal balance between performance and energy saving. True, as tests have shown, the overall performance of the Exynos 9820 is inferior to the Snapdragon 855. Apparently due to not the most modern ARM Cortex-A75 cores.
It is possible that the reason for this lies in a completely different - 8 nanometer process technology. For comparison, Qualcomm is releasing the Snapdragon 855 over the new 7nm. And the finer the technological process, the higher the productivity. Either way, Samsung has a lot of work to do.
The Snapdragon 855 itself is also a rather curious chip. So, its processor cores are distributed as follows:

Unlike Samsung, Qualcomm has all eight cores - custom Kryo 485, which allows for maximum computing speed if you can use them simultaneously. The Adreno 640 graphics accelerator does a great job with any gaming applications, although in synthetic tests Exynos is slightly ahead.
Note that while promoting the Exynos 9820 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the main focus is on hardware acceleration of computations associated with machine learning. In general, the topic of artificial intelligence is trending now, although in practice the performance of the CPU and GPU is still much more important.
As noted, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has not received support for the new LPDDR5 RAM. The transition to it, apparently, will happen only in 2020. And now you will have to be content with an overclocked LPDDR4x with a clock frequency of 2133 MHz.

The Galaxy S10 and presumably the S10 + promise to be the most interesting Samsung phones in years. And there are at least two reasons for this. Design
