Screen. Thickness and width, I have a large hand and can easily reach “th” on the Keyboard.

Large screen, good camera, clear pictures and very good photo color

    2 years ago 0

All the advantages have already been listed. The main thing is the size with such a screen diagonal. Smart is perfectly assembled both outside and inside. There is a video of it being disassembled on YouTube, check it out if you're interested. Glossy back cover, of course, not the best option, but, as the manufacturer claims, it is in greatest demand. If desired, it can be easily replaced (it only sits on latches and tape). The front camera is just a song! And with flash! Fans of selfie shooting - this is definitely your option! Both the photo and the video are just a fairy tale! The rear camera does an excellent job of macro photography and video. Well, traditionally there are a lot of modes) Choose to your taste. With the update to 5.1 there are no slowdowns or glitches. The battery lasts at least a day with average use. Sometimes two. The "stamina" mode will further increase the time of use

The best phone I've ever had, a very underrated model, very strange! I have the white version, the phone feels nice in the hands and the design looks much more expensive than its cost, especially the huge bright screen without frames, thin, metal frame. The display in the white model is not faded at all; if you move the sliders in the white balance settings and reduce the brightness of the backlight, the colors become very rich and bright. Very fast, does not slow down, runs all modern games and applications without problems, console emulators, PSP. 13 MP front selfie camera with its own built-in flash, many built-in shooting modes, panorama, with augmented reality. Light indication of notifications. Flashlight.

    Camera! Battery work! Speed!

    2 years ago 0

Build quality, 6-inch screen, good 64-bit processor, thin screen frames, two SIM cards. The choice fell on black, although they write about different displays, but on black I think the picture is clearer and more saturated, on white it’s not the same. Holds charge for a long time active use 8-10 hours. In standby mode with the stamina function turned on, it lasted 8 days.

Excellent cameras, they shoot at the level of an iPhone, maybe even better (in terms of quality, not speed). Stylish and overall very beautiful. Big.

This is a budget car, no matter how you look at it, compared to the Z and Z3c, well, very noticeable signings, standard applications“phone”, “camera” response is almost 5-10 - the processor is rather weak.

It's terribly buggy and slow, bad sound on video, few topics, you can’t put a topic on SMS, family contacts with a small photo, no function smart case, it’s annoying to press the lock button all the time. I set the lock using double tap - I don’t recommend it to anyone, the phone locks when accidentally pressed, when deleting text, when quickly entering text, but the program itself was not removed in any way, only resetting the settings to factory settings helped. If you do not lock and close the case, it discharges in an hour and heats up like an iron.

The screen isn't the best on a smartphone I've ever owned, but it's pretty decent. The same applies to the main camera. Everything is pretty decent though. 4+. Or 5-, whichever you prefer). I would definitely recommend this for purchase to people who are upgrading their 5.5 inches to a new smartphone.

It takes a long time to charge, it’s better to immediately buy a two-amp charger
    and a separate battery :-D
    girls, he is very big
you have to hold it with both hands
I thought I’d get used to it, but... I’m not used to it, I’m afraid to drop it
They write the truth about the defects in the sensor
It's better to check it in the store right away
go into the sketch and draw slowly horizontal line
If you get a wave, then it’s a marriage.
My sensor is faulty, the phone does not respond to touch when lying down.
you will immediately need to buy an original case, Charger, screen film, headphones  if you need it.

When under load, it heats up in the area of the camera, but this is a drawback of eight-core processors; I would like a more powerful battery, but it lasts for a day.
After this phone, it is difficult to use simpler in functionality.

On this moment I think there are five most basic shortcomings: 1) crude software, not fully developed, and the bugs are simple and do not cause much inconvenience. These bugs could be easily corrected by Sony at the beginning of sales if desired. But in principle this applies to almost all new devices. We'll wait for the update 2) with the included charger it takes 3.5-4 hours to charge, we could have used a more powerful charger. 3) the back cover without a case is very scratched. 4) The camera button on the body of my device is still a bit stiff. 5) LTE network catches worse than Korean and Chinese analogues, this does not particularly affect the quality of communication, but it has a significant effect on the speed of Internet access. Example LG 3 with the same SIM card from a megaphone receives a more stable signal and provides higher

The camera turns on for about 5 seconds, which seems to hint that you won’t see rare shots. The battery lasts a maximum of 10 hours during active use. After a couple of weeks it starts to slow down. I tried to reset it and got a brick that needs to be unlocked. I couldn’t unblock Sony through the website - a call to Sony service also didn’t give any results.
I had to go to the service center for two weeks to unlock it.
There’s a bunch of pre-installed software that not only isn’t needed in any way, but also periodically pops up in notifications with its own advertisements.

All the advantages are nothing compared to the build quality, so 1 point. Opening the camera takes 10 seconds, no less! The back surface is very scratched - cheap plastic. The battery is weak, waking up in the morning at 7 o’clock the charge is 10-15% - I recharge with a 2 Amp charge to about 34-45% while I’m getting ready for work, when I come to work I set it to charge with my original charger, at 6 pm the charge is 100% at 18:30 I leave From the job. So judge, while I’m driving home I listen to music, read, watch videos, the journey is 2 hours, at home I don’t use it so actively anymore, call, write... That is. In 13 hours, 85-90% of the charge is consumed, the backlight is at a minimum, it costs 1 SIM. An unrealistically long charge, more than 4 hours if you don’t touch it!!! If you use and charge, it will be 5-6 hours. Reached up to 8 (charged all day)
The support service said that according to the passport

This is my personal subjective opinion, but personally I don’t have enough screen brightness; indeed, compared to competitors, the brightness is slightly lowered, I have to turn it up to 100 percent, and this is an extra drain on the battery; the performance is not bad, but still in some games such as asfalt8 or brothers arms and some others there are significant lags on medium settings it plays well, but if you turn it up to maximum, the mali t760 can no longer cope, it takes about 2 hours to charge, and it seemed to me that you need to turn off the device completely so that it can fully charge in the background, it’s as if half the charge is charging idle, it discharges very quickly, but if you charge it when switched off, the charge lasts for a long time

Sony Xperia The C5 Ultra can definitely be called one of the most iconic Sony smartphones in recent times, and not at all because of its outstanding capabilities for photographing yourself, but largely because of its fresh frameless design, which stands out strongly against the background of the boring OmniBalance. We have studied the company's flagship selfie from all sides and now we will tell you everything.

Unboxing and video review

Design and construction

When it seemed that the times of bold experiments for Sony were long gone and we were forever destined to see different variations of the OmniBalance design, the Xperia C5 Ultra was born - a ray of light in the glassy symmetrical kingdom. A huge 6" Full HD screen fits neatly into the thinnest frames body, thanks to which the C5 Ultra does not feel gigantic and is quite comfortable to use with one hand. The top and bottom margins were also reduced and this benefited the device. The device is assembled as befits a representative of the upper price segment, although by today's standards and by positioning the C5 Ultra is a top-end mid-ranger. Once upon a time, 25,990 rubles were considered the initial step to the flagship level, but today it is a completely different story. Roughly speaking, the C5 Ultra is a fashion version of the Xperia C4 (review), and it might even be more reasonable to classify it as a T series, but what's done is done, you can't have too many selfie phones. And the Ultra line is missing new representatives.

There are only a few complaints about the appearance. Back panel Made of glossy plastic, it looks beautiful in photographs, but in life it is a source of constant problems: dust, fingerprints, scratches. They will be least noticeable on a white smartphone, a little more on a mint color and very much on a black one. The frameless screen is gorgeous, with a good oleophobic layer and excellent viewing angles, pleasant colors, but with highlights on the lower edges on a black background. Perhaps this is a feature of our test sample, but the moment is not very pleasant, although the black color itself is deep enough for an IPS screen.

The absence of removable parts and a minimal number of plugs (only one for a microSD memory card and one or two nanoSIM cards that also work in LTE) have a positive effect on the perception of the device and its durability; nothing will fall apart or become loose over time. The location of the ports is traditional for Sony, everything is on convenient places, except, perhaps, for the 3.5 mm port on the top end. However, this is a matter of taste; some people find this option more convenient. Another unpleasant detail: despite the apparent presence of two stereo speakers on the front panel, there is no stereo here. There is only a separate earpiece and a separate multimedia speaker. They do not shine with any special quality, the bottom speaker generally wheezes at maximum volume, and it sounds somehow flat and weak for a device of this size.

Otherwise, the C5 Ultra is a very nice smartphone that fully justifies its price, at least in terms of appearance and reliability. But what about the insides?

Software

At the time of writing Xperia review The C5 Ultra is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and firmware 29.0.B.1.55. An update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the smartphone has already been announced, but its approximate timing remains under a veil of secrecy. The main feature of the software is the one-handed control mode, in which the screen is reduced to the size Xperia Ray and allows you to run almost all applications in this way. It can be stretched to larger, but still comfortable for one hand, sizes. You can control both left and right hand, dragging the window across the screen. This mode is launched with a light swipe from the bottom right edge of the display. In addition, the settings have one-handed modes for dialing and keyboard. To make it easier to access the notification shade, you can double-tap Home button, however, unlike previous implementations of this function, the status bar does not fall down - you still have to reach for the topmost controls.

Otherwise, we have a typical Sony Xperia smartphone with a full set of proprietary utilities and close to bare Android interface Xperia Home. The only thing missing in the software is unlocking the screen with a double tap, but otherwise there is more than enough of everything, even working with gloves has not been forgotten. Ultra Stamina mode will allow your smartphone to work for up to 25 days without recharging in “Phone+Camera” mode, this is very useful feature. It is not clear whether the smartphone will receive a simpler shell in the future, announced as an imminent update for the Xperia Z5 line; this would be very cool.

Camera

It’s not every day that you can find two almost equivalent cameras in a smartphone at once - the front and the main one. Both of them have a resolution of 13 megapixels and wide-angle optics, as well as a number of interchangeable operating modes. Manual settings, scenarios and modes are partially available for the front camera, as well as various augmented reality applications and other funny mockery of people’s faces - replacing faces, eyes, various effects of red lips and makeup (they all slow down and significantly warm up the smartphone).

As for the quality of the photo, it, alas, lacks stars from the sky. The photos come out better than the Xperia C4, especially with the front camera. Photos take best in daylight, front flash It helps out in bad conditions, but it also blinds, despite its softness and focus on comfortable selfie shooting in the dark. In general, Sony traditionally needs to work on its shooting algorithms; I would really like to see it in the software Android based 6.0 some progress in this regard. The video is recorded in 1080p quality, there is an electronic stabilizer, HDR, but the picture does not amaze the imagination. Below are examples of photos in different modes from both cameras.

Benchmarks and Performance

In terms of filling, the smartphone is similar to the Xperia C4: MediaTek MT6752 chipset (8 cores, 1.7 GHz), Mali T760-MP2 graphics, 2 GB of RAM. This set is enough for a relatively fast and smooth operation in most simple usage scenarios, but at times there are slowdowns, sometimes very significant. The fact is that this chipset would perform best in conjunction with an HD screen, which is what we wrote about in the C4 review. Here with Full HD, not everything is as good as it could be. This applies to both tests and games.

A large Sony smartphone with a good front camera – we are trying to determine the advantages and disadvantages. Looking ahead, we can say that for the money it’s not a bad purchase...

A little about the phablet market

A report from Svyaznoy about the phablet market came just in time, I’m presenting it in its entirety, it will allow you to better understand why Sony has updated its own line of large smartphones - by update I mean the C5 Ultra.

“In the first 8 months in Russia, for the first time, more phablets** were sold than tablet computers with a screen smaller than 8.9 inches. In total, based on the results of January-August, sales of phablets in Russia amounted to about 3.5 million devices worth almost 44 billion rubles. Sales of tablet phones in Russia increased by 128% in volume terms and by 140% in monetary terms. At the same time, since the beginning of the year 2015, about 3 million tablets with a display diagonal of less than 8.9 inches have been sold in Russia.

Thus, the sales volume of tablet phones in Russia for the first time in history exceeded the number of compact tablet computers sold. Taking into account the dynamics of the tablet market, as well as the continuing interest in “large” smartphones, Svyaznoy analysts predict that by the end of the year, more phablets will be sold in Russia than tablets in general.

Also, for the first time in the history of the portable electronics market, revenue from sales of phablets in Russia exceeded the same figure in the tablet computer category. According to Svyaznoy, tablets worth 31.6 billion rubles were sold in Russia in January-August 2015.

The popularity of tablet phones, in addition to the form factor and functionality, is also due to their growing accessibility. Despite the fact that the average bill for a smartphone in Russia grew by 13% over 8 months, the dynamics in the phablet segment turned out to be not so high - in fact, the average cost of a “large” smartphone remained at the level of last year, amounting to 12,600 rubles. The more modest growth dynamics of the average tablet bill is due to an increase in the number of such devices in price segments of less than 15 thousand rubles.

In 2015, competition in the phablet segment noticeably intensified. A year ago, half of the tablet phones in Russia were sold by 3 companies: Samsung, SONY and Lenovo. They also received 60% of the revenue in this category of smartphones. With the entry into the market of budget phablets from Microsoft (Lumia 535, Lumia 640, Lumia 640XL), the brand’s share in this category of smartphones increased from 2% to 11%, and sales of Microsoft tablets in Russia increased 13 times. Such rapid development allowed the company to become one of the three most popular smartphone brands. Lenovo's sales in the phablet category more than doubled. The company managed to maintain its market share at 14%.

The top three market leaders by share in rubles have also undergone changes. Samsung managed to maintain leadership in the segment. Also in the top three are SONY and Lenovo, but Apple has almost caught up with them - customers reacted very positively to last year’s new products, and the release iPhone models 6s Plus will allow the American brand to gain a foothold in the phablet category.

However, we note that despite the saturation of the tablet computer market, certain categories of these devices are in steady demand. We are talking, in particular, about tablets with a powerful processor, which are successfully used to work with special applications and for games."

Let me remind you that the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be released at the end of the year. In theory, it can also be classified as a phablet. And I would also like to see a large version of the Z5 in two versions, one and two SIM cards.

Design

The device is available in three colors: black, white and mint.

The device turned out to be quite large, but you will probably immediately notice the almost complete absence of frames, although technically there are still sides, they are very thin and protrude slightly above the display. When you place the device with the display down, the screen does not touch the surface. The areas at the top and bottom are visually normal, it cannot be said that they are larger than in other devices. In general, the device is firmly built, you can feel the weight, it is pleasant. In the pictures, the C5 Ultra looks bigger and worse, in real life many note that it fits well in the hand, looks and feels interesting due to the metal ends and minimalist design in general.

This model combines the ideas of two devices at once. This is the C series - and therefore there is a high-quality front camera for taking selfies - well, and it is also a logical continuation of the T2 Ultra. Not a flagship phablet, but not a toy either. There are no complaints about the assembly; slots for memory cards and SIM cards are hidden under the flap; there will be a version with two SIM cards. It’s gratifying that Sony doesn’t forget about support for memory cards; for users this is more important than a bunch of incomprehensible software or crazy functions and settings. Cards up to 128 GB are supported - this is really important. During shooting, you can choose where to save photos, the same applies to installing applications. True, it’s worth buying a normal card – normal in terms of manufacturer and speed. So that there are no problems with launching programs.

The microUSB connector at the bottom is unprotected and without plugs, which is a plus. Next to the front camera there is a place for a soft LED flash. The optics here are wide-angle, and selfies come out really good.

I wonder what rear end here they are made of plastic, but the ends are made of aluminum, with a protection system, like the Z3. The corners are not part of the frame to avoid deformation. At the top end there is a 3.5 mm jack. By the way, the case is very easily soiled, especially for the black device. We recommend watching our video about the device.

Separately, I want to say this. The famous Sharp smartphone, so beloved by Artem, has no frames at all, that is, there really are none. The Sony Xperia C5 has sides on the sides, and, in fact, there are minimal frames, the thickness is 0.8 mm.

Regarding the shooting button. It has two positions: press to focus, press harder, and a photo is taken. On my sample, the button works well, neither soft nor hard. When the device is locked, you can press the button, then the camera will start, you can take a picture. Another thing is that it does not launch with the latest settings (for example, 13 MP and the selected white balance preset), but with the default settings.

There is no protection against water or shock, so you shouldn’t drown the C5 Ultra.

Display

A lot has been written on the Internet about how a smartphone can use displays from different companies with slightly different characteristics. There are two companies, Innolux LCM and Truly LCM, supposedly the black and mint C5 Ultra has a Truly LCM screen, and the white one has an Innolux LCM. Using the service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*) I tried to see what the screen is, but I can’t get to this item in the menu, you press it, but there is no reaction. If you also have a C5 Ultra, post your results in the comments.

At first I read a lot of reviews about how the display was faded, but in reality I would call the picture very, very calm - although to some it will seem just faded and nothing else. Again I suggest looking at the screen before purchasing.

In fact, the diagonal of the IPS display is 6 inches, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, the picture is not bad, but it’s not Retina or a screen like on Samsung flagships, don't expect miracles. Sony abandoned the name “phablet”, and in general, it seems that it’s not customary to call phablets phablets anymore, but the C5 Ultra is exactly that, a phablet. Can replace a small tablet and smartphone.

Let me remind you that the iPhone 6 Plus has a display diagonal of 5.5 inches, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and Samsung Note 4 diagonal SuperAMOLED screen – 5.7 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. And, naturally, if a person is going to buy a phablet, he will consider all three devices - but here the C5 Ultra will have a very strong price advantage. When you hold the device in your hand, touching the edges of the display does not affect the behavior of the smartphone. For greater convenience, we implemented a reduction in screen size: swipe your finger from the bottom left edge up, and the screen becomes smaller, just right for your thumb. You can use all the functions of the device with one hand. The screen in this state can be moved up and down, and slightly enlarged if necessary. The function is not bad, it will come in handy if one hand is busy.

Performance

The device comes with Android 5.0 and uses Mediatek MT6752 chipset (Octa core 1.67 GHz). LTE is supported even for a device with two SIM cards, ARM Mali T760 graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of data memory installed. Naturally, this is not enough; get ready to buy a memory card right away. I already said, it’s not worth saving on the card.

  • ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit octa-core processor (1.7GHz)
  • ARM Mali-T760 GPU
  • MediaTek CorePilot™ unlocking the full power of all eight cores
  • Rel. 9, Cat. 4 LTE (FDD & TDD), DC-HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, EDGE
  • 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
  • H.265 Ultra HD codec support

The interface contains things familiar to Sony, these are redrawn icons, camera settings, and its own applications - for example, an antivirus and a program for detecting tracks.

The device cannot be called fast; in some applications the brakes are noticeable, the startup takes a long time, and there is heating. But when using conventional basic programs everything is more or less good.

Working with two SIM cards

One tray is used for SIM cards, this is a convenient solution, it is easy to pull out, and cards are also easy to put in. In the menu, you can programmatically disable the use of the second SIM card, select a SIM card for data transfer, activate the “Always Connected” function, this will forward calls to another SIM card if the second one is unavailable. The device supports LTE (dual SIM cards), this is already becoming the norm for devices in the mid-price segment. I did not notice any problems in the operation of two SIM cards, except that those who like to save contacts on a SIM card will not be able to select the one they need - I don’t know why to do this now. There is phone memory, backups. Unless you constantly rearrange your SIM cards, then yes, you need such an option.

Working hours

A 2930 mAh battery is used, the operating time is stated to be 8 hours in video playback mode. There is an Ultra STAMINA Mode, if less than twenty percent of the charge remains, you should turn it on.

It takes about four hours to charge using the supplied power supply, which is a bit disappointing. I’m used to charging my smartphone in the evenings, connecting it to PS4. Don’t forget that the set-top box easily copes with this task, one hundred percent overnight.

With normal use during the day, the battery does not discharge quickly; the C Ultra easily survived until the evening, and several times lasted until the morning. In general, as with most modern devices, expect to use the battery for a day.

In this device, as in other Xperia, you can turn on the power saving mode; it can help you if the charge level is about twenty percent and you don’t know when you will be near a power outlet in the near future.

Camera

Two cameras, each 13 MP, front with LED flash, focused on selfies, you can evaluate the quality using examples. The same effects are supported for both cameras; by the way, they can be additionally downloaded for Xperia cameras from the Google store. HDR supported for both cameras, automatic scene recognition for mode selection. Among the effects, there are traditional Sony AR effects, when mushrooms, gnomes, animals, and so on are added to the picture. If on flagships this happens quickly or very quickly, then with the C5 Ultra you have to wait; loading occurs in a couple of seconds, sometimes longer. There is a photograph with sound, I didn’t understand this effect at all, nothing particularly attractive.

When Sony talked about new line, then they especially emphasized that we would fight hard for the quality of the pictures. As far as I can tell, this struggle also affected devices in the mid-price segment, because the C5 Ultra takes good photos, I suggest you evaluate the pictures yourself. My opinion is this: the camera can and should be used. It doesn’t launch instantly; it’s annoying because there are a huge number of unnecessary settings instead of just one setting – “Take a good shot.” The wide-angle selfie camera allows you to fit even a large group into the frame. If you use a monopod, a huge group will fit.

conclusions

The device turned out to be quite strange, as they say, niche. I suggest you look at the pros and cons of the device. Here are the advantages:

  • Interesting design, aluminum frame (but only plastic gets scratched, keep that in mind). It’s also interesting about the metal; when people pick up the C5 Ultra for the first time, they are surprised, it’s unexpected to see such material in a mid-price device. On the other hand, now is the time - every manufacturer in an oversaturated market is trying to offer more for the same money.
  • The display diagonal is a plus for some, a minus for others. Of course, I would like to see a higher resolution screen with such a diagonal, but we are dealing with what we have. Let me note that I’m talking specifically about the diagonal.
  • Two SIM cards, LTE support - some will say that there is no point in “dual”, but my friend uses the C5 as a working tool, on big screen It’s convenient to view email, work and personal SIM cards in one device.
  • Support for memory cards is also a big plus.
  • Loud speaker.
  • Good sound quality, aptX support.
  • Good front camera for selfies (a plus for those who take selfies frequently).
  • Leapfrog with displays. People behave predictably, “on the Internet they write that the screens are DIFFERENT,” and immediately problems of choice, discussion, speculation, and so on begin. To some extent, with the C5 you can achieve the desired result using the white balance in the settings, but I would advise just looking at the screen before buying. This The best way understand whether to take it or not.
  • The performance is clearly different from the flagships, this is especially noticeable when the camera is working, there is no “instantness”. Naturally, if you also use games, you will notice heating and slowdowns even more.
  • Speaker It seemed quiet to me even at full volume.
  • Heating is not a drawback, but it cannot be ignored.

The retail price is 25,000 rubles for the version with two SIM cards; if you search, you can find it cheaper. Considering the pros and cons, the price tag is quite justified. I would like to recommend that Sony not abandon this series; consumers are slowly but surely understanding the advantages of phablets, and such smartphones are needed. What would you like to see in the continuation of the C5 Ultra? I would like a screen with different characteristics, a more powerful processor, a case made of matte plastic (less fingerprints and scratches), I personally really like OnePlus One cases. Simple and tasteful. I would like support for fast charging and a larger battery. I believe we can see much of the above in Sony’s flagship phablets.

The overall system performance in AnTuTu Benchmark tests turned out to be about the same as that of the above Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, but there we have six cores, here we have eight.

In general, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has enough performance for smooth operation operating system(until next Android updates at least), for running any applications, for watching videos in Full HD and even for games. True, the MediaTek MT6752 platform in general and the Xperia C5 Ultra in particular have very little reserve for the future.

Autonomous operation

Sony's latest smartphones have a long battery life battery life, this was especially true for the Xperia Z3 line. But the C5 Ultra has a larger screen, and the hardware is different. Frankly, I was a little afraid that the autonomy would be worse, but this did not happen. In tests, the smartphone showed very good results. In video playback mode, the smartphone lasted 6 hours 40 minutes, in reading mode - a little more than 10 hours, and under load (Epic Citadel with high quality graphics) – exactly 4 hours.

Let us remind you that battery life is tested with the energy-saving mode disabled at a brightness of 200 cd/m2. In the case of the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, this was about a third of the maximum value.

The main feature of the Xperia C5 Ultra is the 13 megapixel front camera, complemented by its own flash.

One of the best cameras

In addition to the technical side of the issue, the corresponding software was added to the front camera, so with the PROselfie mode you will be the coolest selfie who can take pictures of himself anytime, anywhere, with flash, HDR and other bonuses. Perhaps this is the answer HTC Desire EYE from Sony. It wouldn't be logical to do something like this front camera and not make the main one good. That’s why it’s also 13 MP here and also excellent - it’s not for nothing that other manufacturers use Sony sensors in their best models. Don’t forget about the camera interface of the Japanese company, which is rich in modes.

Thin bezels around the screen

Externally, the Xperia C5 Ultra tried to make it as small as possible, minimizing the frames around the screen. And they did it very well - the smartphone shows one of best ratios useful screen area to the body. The display here is huge - with a diagonal of 6 inches and a resolution of 1920x1080. There are many proprietary technologies to improve image quality - to standard IPS matrix added features that are used in Sony Bravia TVs.

Stylish design

In general, the design of the phablet is quite recognizable for Sony smartphones. One can criticize the heavy weight of the device - 187 g. However, there are people who like phones whose weight can be felt in the hand. The case here is not collapsible, and accordingly the battery cannot be changed. The battery capacity - 2930 mAh - should be enough for a full day of work, especially considering the effectively working Stamina energy saving program.

Productive “filling”

Controls the operation of the gadget 8-core MediaTek processor MT6752 with 2 GB RAM. The potential of this “filling” is enough, for example, to run demanding games, and if you switch for a minute to answer a message, then when you return, you will find the game in the same place where you left off.
