A truly impressive update to a platform that's ten years old, especially if you're using an iPad. But you won't be able to get your hands on it until the official release, which happens in the fall. However, there is also a workaround. If you're adventurous, you can sign up for Apple's beta testing program and test out iOS 11.
Apple's beta testing program is free for everyone. You do not need to have a developer account. For installation operating system you don't even need iTunes or Xcode. Just log in with your Apple account and you're done.
The open beta is somewhere halfway between the developer beta and the final release. It does not disappoint with its complete lack of readiness, but it is hardly suitable for everyday use. You shouldn't install it yourself if you want to use it all the time.

iOS 11 is supported by all latest devices up to iPhone 5s and iPad mini 2. Below are all devices that support the iOS 11 open beta.

Create a backup first
You don't have to take a lot of risk. Please create a backup before installing the beta. A lot can go wrong. Either some offensive bug, or the device will completely turn into a useless brick. With an encrypted iTunes backup, you can revert to the latest stable release on iOS 10.
Step 1: Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer and open iTunes.
Step 2: In the top iTunes menu, click on the iPhone or iPad icon.
Step 3: Click Create a Copy Now. If you need additional security, click "Encrypt backup iPhone copy". This will back up important data such as your passwords, Health app data, Homekit devices, and logins. So after recovery, you will have to spend less time. After creating an encrypted backup, you will also need to create a password for it (you can save it to iCloud Keychain).
Step 5: Now create an archive with a copy. Select "iTunes Preferences" from the menu.
Step 6: In the "Devices" tab, right-click on your copy and select "Archive" from the menu.
Registration in the beta testing program
Now you need to register for the beta testing program.
Step 1: Head over to beta .apple .com and click the Sign Up button.
Step 2: On next page Sign in with the same Apple ID you use on your device.
Step 3: Accept the terms of the user agreement.
Register your device and install a profile
After registering in the program, you need to register a specific device.
Step 1: On your iPhone or iPad, go to the program's website and click the iOS tab.
Step 3: Then click "Load Profile".
Step 4: After downloading the profile, click the "Install" button.
Step 5: On the next page, click Install again.
Step 6: In the next pop-up window, select Install and then Restart. While the device is rebooting, the profile will be installed.
Update software to install the open beta
After rebooting your device, you should start beta testing.
Step 1: Open the "Settings" application and select the "General" tab, where select "Software Update".

Scroll down and tap the "enroll your iOS device" link and then tap the "Download profile" button. Safari will ask you to launch the "Settings" application and install the beta version software... Click Install, enter your password and reboot your device when prompted.Download and install the public beta.
After rebooting the device and installing the operating system profile, you can install the beta version of iOS 11. Open the "Settings> General> Software Update" application. Click the Download and Install button if the beta download does not automatically start. After the download is complete, click "Install Now" to install it. Why you shouldn't install iOS 11 right now
First of all, bugs / errors / glitches can become a compelling argument. Call it what you want, but the work with the system can hardly be called ideal. Bugs manifest themselves in everything: from incorrect work embedded apps before bugs in apps that are downloaded from App Store... The developers simply did not have time to fix and update everything everywhere. They have until September.
Do not forget that 32-bit applications will automatically stop running for you. They also cannot be installed from the App Store.
The battery sits down before our eyes. It's the same every year. All of the first beta versions of iOS are draining the battery. It concerns the iPad to a lesser extent. And on the iPhone, I observed a funny bug: the percentage of the charge suddenly began to fall from 27 to 1 right before our eyes with a step of one percent in 3-4 seconds. I was stunned ...
Also, the device on iOS 11 works slower than on iOS 10. This is manifested in the long loading of applications, in delays in animation. Checked for iPad Air and iPhone 6 Plus. But there were reviews about slow work on iPad Pro... Optimization in the first beta versions suffers. More or less, the system only starts working with a clean installation from scratch.
The phone heats up for no reason in some applications. Including when starting the camera. It's a pleasure to watch from time to time how the camera starts up for 5-7 seconds, then the smartphone heats up instantly.
