Reason 2: The entered data is not recognized

Try entering your username and password again. Pay attention to the case and keyboard layout when entering a password - you may be entering block letters instead of capital letters or letters of the Russian alphabet instead of English.

On the home page, in the right upper corner there is a login button. Click this button.
In the window that opens, enter your number mobile phone. You can enter an address instead of a phone number. To do this, click the link Use an existing address Email.
Another window will open in which you need to enter the mailbox address. It must be working, because a code will come to it. Click Next.
Then you need to come up with a password, at least 8 characters. At the same time, the signs should not be of the same type (for example, only numbers), but belong to different categories (English letters large, small, numbers, signs). If the system did not give an error in the password, click Next.
First name, Last name enter in this box and click Next.
Checking mailbox, which you indicated at the beginning of registration, find email with a four-digit code. Enter the Code in the box and click Next.
If you did not specify an email, but a mobile phone number, then another window will open. Enter the code received by SMS into it and click the Next button.
Finally, we have reached the moment of completing the registration of our account. Now you need to make out what kind of signs are drawn in the picture. I usually look at them with a magnifying glass. Dismantled? Have you entered? Click Next.
Now you are registered in the system. Write down your login(phone number or email address) and password in notebook. You only need to create your account once. After that, the data that you specified during registration will be stored on the Skype server and will not be lost, no matter what happens to your computer.
Thanks to your username and password, you can log into your Skype account from any computer, tablet, smartphone on which Skype is installed. And then contact your friends.

How to sign up for Skype on your phone
Creating a Skype account via phone is more convenient than via desktop computer, or laptop. I will show you step by step how to register on Skype from your phone (android smartphone).
1. Go to PlayMarket
We go to Play Market. In the search box, enter the word "Skype".
2. Select the line with the Skype logo
Several lines with the word "skype" appear. The first line will be with the logo of the program. Click on this line.
3. Click Install
The page will open Skype programs in Play Market. Click the Install button.
4. Click Open
The program will take some time to install. When the Delete and Open buttons appear, it means that the program has been installed. Click on Open.
5. Click: Create an account
At this step, users who previously signed up for Skype through a PC or other smartphone can click Sign in, enter their credentials and start chatting. And those who have not registered on Skype yet, click: Create an account.
6a. Signing up for Skype with a phone number
Select the Country, enter the mobile phone number, and click the Next button.
If, for some reason, you do not want to link your account to a phone number, then, under the Next button, click: Use an existing email address.
6b. Registering on Skype without a phone number
In this case, enter the address of the e-mail box 1 (it must be working, because a confirmation code will be sent to it). By the way, see how free. Click Next 2
7. Enter the password
Inventing strong password and enter it in the password field 1 and press the button Next 2 . If you enter a weak password, a hint will appear in red font that the password must include at least 8 characters that belong to at least two of the following types: upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols.
8. Enter the first and last name
At this step, enter the first and last name, in any language.
9a. Enter the code received by SMS
If you indicated your mobile phone number, then enter the code received via SMS and click Next.
9b. Enter the code from the letter
If you specified an email, then enter the code that you received in your mailbox 1, click the Next button 2
10. Enter the code from the picture
We complete the creation of an account in Skype. To confirm that the account is created by a person, not a robot, enter the code from the picture, click Next, and you will be taken to your Skype account.
You will be prompted to select a theme and make other settings. You are now registered with Skype and with these registration data (I think you wrote them down) you can log into your account from any computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Follow the steps below to sign in to your Skype account:
- Go to the Skype login page and click on the link "Can't login?" (as in the picture below). After that, a new window will open. Or follow the link https://a.login.skype.com/diagnostics.
- In the next window, you will need to enter your Skype ID (email, username or telephone number). Click "Continue" once you've entered your Skype ID.
- In the window that appears, click on the "Reset password" button.
- You will be redirected to next page where you will be prompted to select any of the options to continue the process: I don't remember my password; I know my password, but I can't log in; I think someone else is using my Microsoft account. Select the appropriate option and click Next.
- Then enter the user ID (if not displayed) and the captcha shown in the field. When you're done, click "Next" to continue.
- In the next window, you will need to choose one of three options to receive the security code: an email to your email; SMS message to your phone number ********76; and the "I don't have this data" option. In cases where you have selected an email or phone number, click "Send Code" and a security code will be sent to your phone or email. You will need to paste this very code in the new window that appears.
- In this new window that appears, enter the security code and click "Next" to continue.
- You will be redirected to the password reset page. On this page, you will need to create a new password and click "Next" to access your account.
Note! When choosing the third option, "I do not have this data"(Step 4), you will be redirected to another page, asking you to provide an alternate ID to get the code. Paste the received code into the required field and confirm it. A special form will appear that you will need to fill out and submit. If Skype confirms that you are the true owner of your account, it sounds a little strange, but it's all for security purposes. Since Skype does not know who exactly is trying to enter, the true owner or an impostor. You will be allowed access to your Skype account.
