By the way, the position of the panel can be subsequently changed in the settings by ticking the appropriate checkbox, as well as the list of parameters that characterize the resource under investigation.

The RDS bar was originally made for Mazila, so its appearance will be slightly different. After installing the extension, you will need to restart your browser, which will be reported immediately. And right there, the plugin will instantly give you information about the website in accordance with the default settings:

After installing the RDS bar, it will need to be configured according to your needs, which, in fact, is what we are moving on. In addition, we will take a closer look at the SEO parameters of the resource under study that it offers to our attention.

Setting options for the RDS bar and values in its information panel

So, let's take a look at the ability to customize the extension installed in Chrome. To go to editing options RDS bar in Google Chrome, you need to click on the plugin icon with the right mouse button and from context menu select "Settings":

But here there is an opportunity, although not very rich, to single out such links in your own way. Finally, to disable or even remove the RDS bar from Chrome, you need to click on the control icon with three horizontal stripes in the upper right corner of the window of this webbrowser, from the menu that appears, select "Additional tools" - "Extensions" and opposite the desired add-on to perform the desired action, remove a checkmark with the "Enabled" option if you want to disable it and click on the trash can icon if you want to delete it.

Everything that I said about the RDS bar for Google Chrome is completely true for the Opera too, so I see no reason to repeat myself. The only thing is, to disable or remove the RDS bar in Opera, follow the path "Tools" - "Extensions" - "Manage extensions" and select one of the buttons: "Cancel" or "Delete". But let's take a closer look at the settings and, especially, the parameters displayed on the information panel in Mazil, since the functionality of this extension for Firefox is much richer.

First of all, I note that access to all the plugin functionality is carried out through the RDS bar icon on the left side of the information panel:

If you are already registered on the RDS service, you can immediately log in by clicking on the "Login" line with the key icon, this will give certain advantages, which I will tell you about below. Further, as in the versions for Chrome and Opera, you can set up the analysis of the inspected website by a button, that is, set or cancel the automatic display of parameters.

Now settings. If you click on the corresponding line from the context menu, it will open separate window where options are checked by default. Take a look at the screenshot of the dashboard above. The first and second indicators are the number of indexed pages of this web project in Yandex and information about whether the web page opened in the browser (in Yandex and Google) has been indexed. Below is the word "captcha". This means that for standard settings this information can only be obtained through captcha input.

I suspect that this method annoys the Russian Internet mirror because of its suspicions of automatic requests coming from this IP address. As you understand, it is inconvenient to enter a captcha every time, especially if more than one resource is subject to verification, which, most often, happens, and secondly, it is fraught with unpredictable actions on the part of the search engine.

This is where I come back to the benefits of registering for RDS. By registering, you get the opportunity not only to instantly display the results on the number of indexed pages and data on the location of the project's web page open in the browser in the index, but also to Additional information, which is inaccessible to unregistered users.

So, in order to get the above parameters for a web resource instantly, you need to log in to the RDS service and check some options. To do this, go to the settings. Here opposite desired parameter click on the gear icon, in the window that opens, select "API Recipdonor", then click "OK".

We have already figured out the first four indicators: the number of indexed pages in Yandex, the presence of indexing of the page opened in Firefox, the next two similar informers for Google. Next is the indicator of the project's trust for Yandex and the presence of the web resource in the Yandex Catalog, as evidenced by the number of the thematic citation index in bold.

The next parameter on this scale is for search engine Google and the presence of the website in the international DMOZ directory, which shows its importance and popularity. Next is the age of the website, where the date the project was opened is marked. Consider a few more informers on this panel:

The next few metrics show the distribution of link mass, including the number of inbound and outbound links found in the famous Solomono service (which has already been renamed Linkpad). By clicking on the orange icon, you will receive an information sheet with all the relevant parameters of the site under study:

Another indicator on the information panel informs about the daily traffic of the resource. Moreover, if several are installed, then the largest number will be displayed when there is a discrepancy in the readings. At the same time, even if the main statistics, for example, are closed from viewing, the RDS bar will be able to fetch out the basic data of visits:

Next comes a number of indicators, including the participation of the website in question in the Sape exchange for selling links, a spell check button on the page, invoking hidden unused settings, clearing the cache (RDS stores several data in the cache).
